AMERICAN WHITE OAK

EUROPEAN OAK

NEW GUINEA ROSEWOOD

BLACKBUTT

AMERICAN WALNUT

ROCK MAPLE

Rock Maple, also known as Hard Maple, is a striking timber with a fine, consistent grain and a light, creamy white to pale tan color that can sometimes have subtle hints of reddish-brown. Substrates for Painted Finishes

These materials are optimal for painted finishes as they are less likely to bleed or leech into the paint and are able to readily accept painting.

FINGER JOINTED PINE

Pine is one of the best timber products for painting. It has an open cell structure which allows paint to absorb effectively, and a smooth even grain.

Finger jointed pine is a cost-effective option for timber framing and components in joinery for interior applications when a paint finish is desired.

ACCOYA

Whilst this is still a pine product, Accoya has been modified through the acetylation process, making it superior to regular pine products such as finger jointed pine.

Accoya is extremely stable, and a great surface for painting, which is suitable both for interior and exterior applications.

MDF

MDF is a staple in modern cabinet making. Whilst some people may be skeptical of MDF is a traditional application, it provides one of the most stable planar surfaces for painting, and is very cost-effective.

MDF is a great option for painted cabinetry in interior applications.

TRICOYA

Tricoya is to MDF, what Accoya is to regular Pine. It is a supercharged upgrade which is extremely stable and suitable even for outdoor applications.

Effectively, Tricoya is MDF with the added properties of Accoya, such as superior stability and moisture resistance.
