Options to choose from
We offer a range of cabinetry finishes which provide an added degree of variability to the look and feel of your cabinetry. We can offer cabinetry in painted finishes, sprayed for a sleek and consistent finished, or brushed by hand to incorporate the texture of natural brush strokes. We can also offer timber finishes, oiled with natural oil products, or coated with clear water-based systems.
PAINTED – SPRAYED
Sprayed paint provides an even and consistent film build to the surface of the cabinetry. It’s smooth-to-the-touch and planar.
We can spray our cabinetry with water-based Polyurethane and Acrylic paints, achieving this sleek finish without the use of harsh chemicals.
A sprayed finish has very little texture, but follows the form of the substrate, allowing details such as grooves to show through.

PAINTED – BRUSHED
Hand-brushed paint captures the natural deviations of manual labour, accumulating detail and character with each stroke.
As with our sprayed cabinetry, we use water-based Acrylic and Polyurethane paints to achieve this traditional paint style.
A brushed paint finish is a textured finish, adding additional dimension to the substrate.

OILED TIMBER
A traditional method of timber preservation, oiling involves applying an oil to the surface of the timber, allowing it to penetrate the wood fibers and form a protective barrier.
Oiled timber has greater depth and colour, enhancing the natural beauty of the selected timber.
This is a finish that you can maintain through periodic application of fresh oil coats, and if required, a light sanding.

SPRAYED TIMBER
For customers who don’t want the maintenance associated with oiled timber, we can offer our timber cabinetry sprayed with clear water-based Polyurethane coatings.
This provides a longer lasting seal with minimal upkeep required.
The coating forms an even barrier over the timber and provides a slight sheen.
